Spring 2012 Motions for consideration

In accordance with league rules, any MOTIONS to be brought before the membership at the members meeting must be made public at least 48 hours in advance. The following MOTIONS have been submitted on time and will be brought to the league for voting at the Spring 2012 meeting.

Adopt WCC Logo as new logo for the League. We will show it at the meeting.

UPDATED: I would like to discontinue the Rising Star/Last Chance Qualifier tourney based on low turnout and lack of interest. The automatic spot given to the winner will go back to the individuals tourney winners. I am not sure the official name but its the tourney that qualifies the winner to be the 8th place player at the WCC each year.  This MOTION may be re-written for clarification and to include  the official name of the event as listed in the official guide.

Add to the section for Hi-Lo…

Once Hi-Lo teams are determine by their percentage, the team seeding will be determined by random draw, therefore

byes are also random.

Change Jump Shot section…

Jump shots are legal shots. However, it is a foul to intentionally cause the cue ball to rise off the bed of the

table by “digging under” or “scooping” the cue ball with the cue stick.
