President’s Letter for Spring 2010 Season

Hi All,

Welcome to the 73rd Season of the Los
Angeles Pool League and to my first Season
as President. I am very excited to
bring some new ideas and fun things to our
League.

This season the LAPL will be hosting the
WCC and once again we will converge on
the Grand Vista Hotel in Simi Valley. Tim
and his committee will strive to make this
one of the best West Coast Challenges in
history. To add to the fun, we will be holding
a contest to see who can produce the
best logo and design for the WCC. Right
now you can go to the website and upload
what might be the winning entry.

We have also taken a giant leap into the
21st century and have added Facebook,
Twitter and YouTube videos to our site.
Players will be able to upload photos and
videos for all to enjoy. Thanks to Jon
Bourgault and Tim Clark for all of the hard
work they have done on our website.

Brian Lo Truglio has scheduled a record
number of Fundraiser that will have some
fun and exciting Tournaments that will go
throughout the Season and beyond, all the
way to the West Coast Challenge.

The Board gives a fond farewell to Johnny
Cochran who is retiring as President of the
League. He has stepped up many times
to take control and we thank him for all of
his hard work. With seven separate terms
as President, who knows, he may be back
again.

Remember, play well, have fun and be kind
to your fellow players.
