Pfannenstiel and Tkatch Hi-Lo Team Wins First at WCCPosted by admin in Untagged |
Michael and Gibbi didn't lose a match all weekend in the Hi-Lo as they captured the trophy for Los Angeles. This was Gibbi's second trip into the record books as Hi-Lo winner for LA (the other with Ricky Bravo). At times during the weekend it was difficult to determine who was Hi and who was Low they both played so well. Gibbi was able to accomplish this along with maintaining the tables and his booth. Mike chipped in and gave the BOG a great deal of help with all kinds of WCC chores. We salute both of them for their fine win and their great support.

Dale Beatie Captures First in Open IndividualsPosted by admin in Untagged |
After losing his first match, Dale was able to complete the difficult task of navigating all the way through the losers to come back across and square off with Lucky Butler from Long Beach in the finals! He then proceeded to beat Lucky soundly in two matches to place first in the Open Individuals. In addition to all this, he still found time to serve on the WCC Rules Committee which produced a great written proposal for a change in the WCC playing rules. Great work Dale.
