Dear Members,
Congratulations to Mike Harris who won the 9-Ball Tournament at Trunks this past weekend. In second place was Steve King. MIke was undefeated in the tournament. We appreciate everyone that came out to participate in this fundraiser.
Our Next Fundraiser (we are trying something new): "Betting on the Captain" Tournament, Sunday, September 25 @ 12 noon at Trunks. Player entree fee: $15/player. Qualification: current captains and/or co-captains and a player from that same team. This will be a scotch doubles tournament. A maximum of 2 players per team. Format: 8 ball double elimination. Race to 3 on winner side. Race to 2 on loser side.
Bidding period: 9/18/2016 - 9/25/2016. Bidding format: teammates can bid whatever amount on their own team's captain and co-captain team only. There will be trophies plus a cash payout to the winning team. Payout: First Place team Payout amount: Maximum is total team bid X 2. (The rest of the bid pool will go to the LAPL.)
BOG Open seats: We currently have three open seats for the BOG. If you are interested in running, please submit your name on the scoresheet or in the comments section of the online submission before the end of week seven.
